Artistic expression has been for me a life-long passion and profession. My path has led me to explore a variety of mediums including painting in oil, stone sculpting and creating a broad portfolio of graphic art commissions for corporate, government and community clients.
The hallmark of my work is a deep regard for simplicity. I've always been drawn to the uncomplicated, the straightforward, the clean and simple. I grew up in a family of artists on both sides of my family. The two painters that have influenced me most are Diego Rivera and Georgia O'Keeffe.
I've always strived to travel light. In recent years, I have begun to more fully appreciate this quality in my work. I am blessed to be able to work in my studio at the beach near San Francisco --- using the highest quality products, including Gamblin oils and acid-free Masterpiece brand, Monet or Vincent style, 12 ounce cotton duck canvases.
