commissioned work and other inspirations
Artistic expression has been my life-long profession. My path has led me to explore a variety of mediums including painting, sculpting and creating a broad portfolio of graphic art commissions for corporate, government and community clients.
Georgia O'Keeffe said, "the days you work are the best days." --- those are the days when the creativity flows and we find meaning and purpose in our work. My work is mostly inspired by human-interest stories of creativity, hard work and survival --- combining the work with a message --- a quote or an interesting historical fact that inspired me in hopes that the viewer will be inspired as well. I see the subjects I paint in clean and simple lines.
My studio is located on Highway One, on the beautiful coast south of San Francisco. I use only the highest grade oils. All paintings are on premium, minimun of 10-ounce cotton canvases.
