commissioned work and other inspirations
Background: My path has led me to explore a variety of mediums including painting, sculpting and creating a broad portfolio of graphic art commissions for government, corporate, and community clients. Many of my paintings, graphic designs and layouts have been published in books and articles, used in retreats and educational programs and have appeared in both web and print ads.
Georgia O'Keeffe said it best,
"the days you work are the best days."
I know what she meant, for those are the days when the creativity flows and we find meaning and purpose in our work.
Art with a Story: Inspired by a story that has crossed my path, I create a piece, then share the work with a message, a quote or an interesting historical fact that inspired me in hopes that the viewer will be inspired as well.
My Studio is located on Highway One, on the beautiful rural San Mateo County coast south of San Francisco.
