Artistic expression has been my life-long passion and profession. My path has led me to explore a variety of mediums including painting in oil, sculpting in stone and mixed-media and creating a broad portfolio of graphic art commissions for corporate, government and community clients.
Georgia O'Keeffe said, "the days you work are the best days." --- those are the days when the creativity flows and we find meaning and purpose in our work. My work is mostly inspired by hard work and survival --- combining the work with a message --- a quote or an interesting historical fact that has inspired me in hopes that the viewer will be inspired as well. I see everything in clean and simple lines.
My studio is located on Highway One a few miles south of San Francisco. I use only the highest grade oils and acid-free, 12-ounce cotton duck Masterpiece® canvases.
